A final burn pass damped the business of the background and brought the attention back to my character.

Adjusting the HSL of the paint layers and adding a basic sketch of a background, along with a little bone in with the gold, really filled out the image.

Added some more features, but became uncomfortable with the hues of the body paint.

Early pass. I like the flamingo eyebrows. References included a number of model photos from around the web; I like the gesticular nature of this pose.

The "Idiot Pass", where I get a rough idea of where I'm going with the drawing before dedicating a day or two to it. Takes at most an hour. Consistently looks terrible. Think of it as story boarding for a still.
