So, I liked the design on the other clothing, but it did not look very comfortable to be sleeping in... much less frozen while hurtling through space. Initially I was working on the COCOON cryopod, and attempting to fit my characters into it, when I decided that while the outfit might work for survival it just looked impractical there.
Additionally, Chase is canonically Anglo-Indian, and I needed to adjust his complexion in a few ways. Also, his last haircut was driving me nuts.
Typically, I can rig an outfit on one character and simply copy it over to the others making minor adjustments for differences in physique; but in this case just about every single top had to be hand modeled to remove artifacts. It's become a background goal of mine to find a way to better automate this clothing fitting process, but we'll see what I come up with.
